Tears forms in her eyes and started to fall onto her cheek, just like the heavily rain pours and drenched their tops.
Time is running out and she knows there is no way for them to claim victory.
Rain stops pouring at some point, so does her tears.
She couldn’t help it but laughed at them.
Probably, she’s gone crazy. Or maybe this is the only way to show how disappointed she is.
Although she is disappointed, she still has hope on them. She keep telling herself to have faith in them, just like Michael Scofield said to his brother, Lincoln Burrow ~ "You just gotta have faith"
When it’s finally over, she just sit at the sofa ~ stoning.
Her heart turns sour and bitter. Just like sucking a lime and at the same time, drinks pure black coffee.
She feels like running. Running as fast as she could, as far as she could, to get away the sour-bitter feeling.
After awhile, she gets up and while humming, she switches off the tv.
She simply hums a happy rhythm to tell herself that everything is fine.
But deep down her heart, she feels real pain. She tells herself ~ so close to reaching the shiny big cup, but now, everything is back to square one.
It’s just like when you almost reach the top of Mount Everest and you slip, you roll down to the bottom. Or you are running for 100m, you see the finish line and you know that you are gonna reach soon, all of sudden, one of your leg started to cramp, and you just fall down to the track and all you can do is watch other runners pass you.
Who can she blame for the lost?
Who can she blame for her wounded heart?
But her friend is there for her.
She told her friend that she could not accept the truth.
She doesn’t want to wake up to face the truth.
She prefer to live in the world of denial.
She sounded dramatic to her friend, as if her life is over.
But her friend still listens to her.
She truly believe that everything is over for them, until Chris Daughtry sings her "It’s Not Over".
She does not believe. She feels so vulnerable. She really find it hard to cope with the truth.
Suddenly, she heard the song "Keep Holding On".
She asks herself ~ how could a computer know how to comfort her?
Keep holding on,
Coz you know we’ll make it tru,
Just stay strong,
Coz you know I’m here for you,
There’s nuthin you can say,
There’s nuthin you can do,
There’s no other way when it comes to the truth,
So keep holding on,
Coz you know we’ll make it tru….
The words just strike into her head.
It’s true there is nothing she can do (unless she has a supernatural power to turn back the time).
She knows that she needs to hold on.
A lost is not the end of world, she knows that.
She knows that time and music can heal her wound.
But right now, she just………she just being herself.
This is her ~ sulking, depressing, feeling as if the sky falls on her when things doesn’t go her way.
